Foods to follow for summer

Water is the main source in summer. its like a thirsty men in a desert.  Some of the foods which must be maintain in daily routine. 


healthy-diet-for-athletesVegetables: Which has  high water content should be in the top list, as they help hydrate your body. Foods such as cucumbers,onions, tomatoes,  pumpkins,cauliflower, cabbage, carrot and sprouts should find a place in your daily diet, as they serve to nutrition's to your body. 


Cardamom: Go for elachi chai for an instant cool down.


Mango: if you are not a fan of Katrina's aamsutra adverts you can skip this and focus on the natural fruits. Chilled mangoes are the best way to cool down, but if you feel its a  bit of spicy, you can try this: Unripe mangoes are very rich source of pectin(Any of various water-soluble colloidal carbohydrates that occur in ripe fruit and vegetables; used in making fruit jellies and jams). Steam and juice with cumin (jeera) and salt for an excellent remedy from heat stroke and exhaustion.


Non Veg: And those who love meat,  try fish. Avoid  red meat or chicken in summer because it contains fatty acids such as Omega 6 and Omega 3 .


Juices: Stick to  lime juice, coconut water, green tea ,buttermilk  drink them all to gain lost fluids and avail of the benefits of numerous vitamins and nutrients.


Apricot: If you're having skin problems such has  breakouts or acne in summer, apricot is best. It provides potassium, fibre,  iron and vitamin C, . Enjoy it's good to have when you work.


Oyster: Already established as an aphrodisiac, oysters contain phytochemicals that wipe out the toxins that encourage sweating. But they're best consumed fresh and should not be bought from stores where they're sold in bags and bowls.


Soups: Watery broth-based soups are an excellent choice! Adding ‘cool' herbs such as mint or coriander to the soups is another way of ensuring that your piping hot soup cools you down from within.


Gooseberry: Not only is amla a great refresher, it also helps reverse the ageing effects of the sun and gives you added stamina for gym sessions. It strengthens the heart, hair and different glands.


Stay away from them!

 Alcohol and coffee: which acts as a diuretics, which leads to an excessive loss of water from the body and increases urination. 
Ice cream and cold drinks : we take them because of they are cool and tasty. Actually they will effect the cooling mechanisms in the body.
Fried foods: oily foods such as samosa, vada pav and other bakery items must be avoided, because they will increase the metabolic rate. And also they will be having thermal effect which will increase heat in the body. 

Be safe from HOT SUN. And follow to be cool in summer.  OMG its 46 in Hyderabad.
